I’m glad you’re working make it less of a big deal to write a Medium post.

But I’ll challenge you to go further.

For many of us, opening a laptop is a big deal. We only do it when we have certain big chores, like a focused working session of some sort, or writing a long email or working on (ahem) a Medium post.

Often, when I have shorter-form thoughts I want to share, I’m bound to my iPhone (cycling, sitting in a Lyft, waiting for my lunch companion to return from the restroom), so I end up using email, Slack, or Twitter. These aren’t always ideal solutions, since Twitter is length-limited, Slack is audience-limited, and email is email.

But if the Medium app had a way to compose an article on my iPhone, that would be, um, pretty awesome.

You mentioned in March 2014 that you were working on this, but hadn’t set a date. Have you set a date yet?
