This may be the best example of someone not reading the story but commenting anyway of all time. First of all I’m a woman. Hi! Second of all the adult nature of the content was not my problem. My daughter is 12 and I take my kids to see PG 13 super hero movies all the time. I was even happy to let them watch Deadpool (although I fast forwarded through the sex montage) because it was clever and silly. I totally chose to take them to see this movie. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t a misogynistic mess.
