Good article. For fun, here’s a selection from an old list of requirements of “Real Programmers” that I paraphrased to be more modern:
“Real programmers don’t work with C#, Java, VB, or any of those pansy high-level languages. They don’t use C or assembly either. Those are all for whimpering, bet-wetting simpletons. Real programmers program on the bare metal.”
