Joe Biden Thinks He’s Wyatt Earp

Did Joe Biden spend his holiday weekend watching the 1995 western film, Tombstone?

Compare the viral clip from Biden’s fiery speech in Maine — in which he warns ISIS terrorists that the United States will follow them “to the gates of Hell” to get “justice”—to the scene from Tombstone where Kurt Russell’s Wyatt Earp delivers a memorably unhinged mini-monologue to one of the men who murdered his brother right before he goes on a kill-crazy rampage.

Earp screams into the night, “You tell ‘em I’m coming, and Hell’s coming with me! You hear? Hell’s, coming with me!”

Watch:

Not that there’s anything wrong with this!

In fact, if Biden grants Chris Matthews his “dying” wish and runs for president in 2016, Tombstone is full of excellent dialogue he can bite during the election:

To the haters.

To potential donors.

For whenever it feels right.

For the terrorists.

And, of course, for when he announces he’ll run.
