An interesting perspective.

I am older (not necessarily wiser). I am a guy. I did have some preconceived ideas on how a couple should be when married. Most of those ideas turned out to be wrong (or at least poorly thought out).

When I first became sexually active I could not get myself to spend the night together with a woman. I wanted (needed) that personal space available to me.

There has been a lot of growth in between. Today I recognise that desire as not too healthy. I had to question my self limiting beliefs. I had to question why that was important to me and if that was a productive approach to my relationship.

Does that positively contribute to any healthy relationship?
