Soul Heavy

Everything feels heavier when our soul is heavy. You move slower. The colors seem less vibrant.

The world moves the same pace around you. It never slows down. But something about feeling soul heavy makes it feel like you are walking through molasses.

Goals and dreams that typically drive us are lost in the ennui. We get tunnel vision, and can only really focus on what’s directly before us.

I’m grateful for the reminder today…

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28–30

When things seem heavy, drop it and pick up what Jesus is laying down.

He doesn’t seek to harm. He doesn’t seek to hurt.

What’s He saying to you today?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
