A Time to Kill iTunes
M.G. Siegler

I really want to like Apple products but I can’t. ITunes is a bloated nightmare. It complains constantly, takes over your disk, does all kinds of things without asking or even notifying. Icloud looks like it was written by first year CS students. Put a damm touchscreen on a laptop. And 128GB is good for the microcontroller on my refrigerator, not a “disk drive” for a current-model machine.

Google and Amazon are leaps and bounds ahead of Apple (and Microsoft for that matter) in reducing hard problems into working consumer solutions.
