Points out the need for a Product Manager type as an early hire or contractor to get to these answers rather than just throwing dev resources into the fray. It seems though that it would be difficult to convince most founders to spend money on a PM or that they are not equipped to do it themselves (and if they haven’t already asked these questions of their current product then they probably aren’t).
