This is really lovely Giulia. And I don’t know why but it reminded me of this little poem I wrote years and years ago…

Our Children

They are Grace

Of pure and perfect face.

A memory of what we were

And may still be

If we set aside our fear

And let our spirit free.

They are our dreams

That come to us on Moonbeams

Revealing all worth knowing

And saving us from lies

If we listen with our hearts

And see things through their eyes

They are bliss

The promise of love’s tender kiss

A ray of hope in the dark

Like a blinking from afar

And we love them like we love no other

Because they are made of stars.
