Thanks for this piece, Patrik. I have found myself using this approach when looking at the positives of the finish line is outweighed by looking at the negatives of looking backwards at failure. But how do you Square this strategy with positive thinking? In other words, doesn’t using a strategy that essentially scares you away from failing (and by default succeeding) take the joy out of the path to accomplishment? Or would you argue that the joy of accomplishment itself will brush over the path to accomplishment anyway? Thanks! Doug
