Remember Esperanto? Still has it devotees. Still has no practical usage. Sounds better to the “western” ear than another concocted language Klingon.

I, for one, am sorry to see Yiddish “go.” It was my parent’s secret code so I learned just that much of it. A pity. I know many Yiddish speaking families and even schools. This does not mean spurning the “official” languages of a nation or industry. It does mean keeping our colors and flavors. We are not robots.

Remember, the holy English language was not always what it is now. Just ask the real handmaids!
