Etihad A380 The Residence — The Most Expensive Plane Ticket In The World

If you’re looking to spend about the price of a new Toyota on one flight, what an experience – said the famous YouTuber Casey Neistat on his complimentary flight back to New York sponsored by Etihad.

The cabin from where Neistat is filming is called The Residence and it is by far the most expensive airline ticket for sale today, with a price up to $38,000 US one way.

So why is this ticket so expensive?

It’s Exclusive

The Residence is only available on the Etihad A380. Each aircraft only has one Residence suite.

The Experience

There is no need to call an Uber when you book the Etihad Residence. Your private chauffeur will pick you up at your home or hotel with a luxurious vehicle and take you to the airport. When you arrive, a Etihad representative will assist with your luggage and escort you through security and immigration until the first class lounge where you can rest (or work) in your own private residence while you await boarding. Once onboard, your private Butler will take care of anything you may need to assure an excellent experience.

More Than Comfortable

Designed for up to two guests, The Residence consists of a three-room apartment that features a one bedroom with a double bed, an ensuite bathroom with private shower room, and a living area with a couch, flat screen TV, and over three feet of legroom.

Absolutely Unique

The fact that only few people can afford and would not mind paying so much for a 15-hour flight makes the Residence already a unique product. Also, no airline can currently compete with such a luxury product as the Etihad Residence. It’s literally first class on steroids.

While I will probably never fly in the Residence, I don’t think this experience is overpriced or unnecessary. We all spend money on things because we either need them or want them. Experiences are subjective and I wish everyone to have theirs. To find out more about Etihad and The Residence or purchase a ticket, you can check directly their website here.
