Why? Because the gross cost and the next cost are two entirely different things… David Grace is ignorant of the full set of facts, his assumptions are flawed. The difference is the proposed cost would be in the billions… not in the trillions!
A basic google search “basic income NET cost” will show that the actual true cost is the amount of the net transfer, not the gross transfer. There are a lot of good online examples showing this with easy to understand examples.
David Grace is an arrogant fraud… in fact, good people like Karl Widerquist are actually doing real work on the subject and should be more widely read. His journaled academic paper breaks it all down in great detail.
