This is spot on. I barely watched any of the Olympics. Mainly because 1. we are cord cutters and our antenna does not pick up NBC. 2. SlingTV but seldom saw any events on NBCSN or USA we wanted to watch. After hearing the next day about the Opening Ceremonies fiasco I am glad I didn’t take the time. As previously mentioned Comcast = NBC so there is part of the problem. As a side note (from an old guy) when cable was first sold to us it was touted as commercial free. That didn’t last long. Fantastic article that is spot on.
