Lessons from my Grandma
Peggy Rees, 1 April 1923–12 March 2001

Hold your head up.
Stand and walk tall. Don’t slouch.
Always carry a handkerchief and be sure to have enough money for your bus fare home.
Do your homework first, then you can go out.
Don’t get hurt and upset if people call you names — it’s not important.
Control your temper.
When you commit to something, you have to see the task through.
The pen is mightier than the sword.
Gorau arf, arf dysg. (The best weapon, is the weapon of knowledge.)
Always, always do your best.
