Expanding the capabilities of dApp creators and blockchain ecosystems
Axelar is a decentralized interaction network that unites ecosystems, applications and blockchain users.
The Axelar network is a decentralized state machine responsible for simplifying network requests. The network supports several key protocols, such as Gateway Protocol (CGP). CGP is the basis of the system and makes it easy to introduce new chains without restrictions on the rules of consensus and transmit information on them.
Thus, Axelar is a decentralized network that connects various protocols and APIs of the blockchain and SDK. At the moment, the following 6 actively tested networks are announced: Terra, Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, Moonbeam, Phantom.
Today, a lot of fast and secure blockchains are being created in the field of crypto ecosystems. But their scalability and the connection between them is a good and serious question that few people can answer. The Axelar project can, because it creates a decentralized stack to connect various heterogeneous blockchains that speak different languages, have different consensus rules and support different smart contract languages. Axela will be a single decentralized network and protocol stack for connecting and connecting various applications and platforms in all these ecosystems.
Since no one wants to spend a lot of time connecting to new networks, Axelar is developing a system that will allow us to connect to new platforms with just a few teams. The project’s smart contracts and the ability to deploy plug-in blockchain software on Axelar’s decentralized network stack will allow the platform to be connected to all other blockchain systems. And it will be a very simple integration, in which application developers will be able to create the best platform for their needs, optimized for important functions.
We take an asset from a decentralized platform and try to transfer it to another decentralized platform. The presence of a centralized custodian in the center, which stores the asset or is responsible for the transfer of information, poses a great risk to ecosystems. The Axelar protocol is designed with compatibility and decentralization in mind, so it does not create additional risks for ecosystems. Currently, there are no such decentralized protocols that could scale on arbitrary blockchains.
Partners of the Axelar Network ecosystem
If you own an asset on one of the existing blockchains, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, and want to use this asset in an application built on one of the other blockchains, it is not easy to do this, and you often have to rely on a centralized solution. Therefore, Axelar creates a network and an application based on it that will allow users to take their assets, quickly move them to another blockchain and use them directly in their applications.
The Axelar network will allow applications to be combined into arbitrary chains. For example, if you want to get the interest rate information from one platform, you can make a general request via SSL and get the interest rate from another platform for your application. We will have the opportunity to live in a world where everyone can use decentralized applications and assets without worrying about which network they were created on. Now users will not have to worry about different networks, they will be able to freely share files and communicate with each other. This will be achieved in several ways:
- through Axelar or applications of other developers, for example, applications for asset transfer. The application that was originally created should allow the user to take their asset and quickly transfer it to another platform, and then directly use it in applications of this platform. In this case, users will be able to log into the web portal and use it to transfer assets to one of the other platforms.
- through direct integration with application developers. The developer creates an application based on Ethereum, but wants to include assets from other ecosystems in it or establish a connection with applications from other ecosystems — he integrates his application with the Axelar protocol. Thus, they will be able to send requests for interaction with the assets of these ecosystems.
Another really interesting feature is the ability to connect an arbitrary EVM chain. For example, Avalanche is compatible with EVM, so it is now quite easy to connect Avalanche users to the Axelar network.

If you haven’t heard or don’t know about this project, I advise you to take a closer look, at the moment testing is still underway, but it is closed. And soon they promise to give access to everyone.
At the moment, the project is being implemented within the framework of the Axelar Quantum community program. This community-driven program aims to introduce participants to the Axelar network and provide an opportunity to create a variety of original content to expand Axelar’s resource base and reach.
Briefly about the project itself. Axelar creates a platform that will allow a certain blockchain to interact with others, dapp developers to connect them to various networks and transfer assets between these networks (using the Axelar API), ordinary users will be able to interact with all applications connected to Axelar using their wallet. Simply put, Axelar is a decentralized network that will allow developers to create projects or applications that can run on many blockchains at the same time, and will save them from having to independently create solutions for working in different networks. The project is supported by well-known foundations and has a fairly professional team with experience in cryptography, software development.
Participants of the Axelar Quantum Community program do not have to be technical specialists! The main task of the participants is to tell about the project in a language understandable to a wide audience.
To begin with, the organizers ask you to familiarize yourself with the technical documentation, read the whitepaper and articles in the project blog, that is, study the project. After that, you can start completing tasks.
As part of this program, you can:
- write blog articles about various aspects of Axelar
- create infographics, guides
- create and moderate new community channels
- write articles about the project
- create videos
- make translations.
Yes, as for translations, a lot has already been translated at the moment, and the team has requested to focus more on creating their own content. Memes are also not welcome.
After preparing all the materials for this program, they must be entered in the application form for participation in the program. There was a request to send everything in one form in order to simplify the consideration of the submitted works.
Everyone can participate in the first stage, then the 300 best participants will be selected for the second stage, depending on the quality, creativity and volume of their materials. At the third stage, the 150 best participants will be selected, and at the fourth — the 50 best.
Participants of the second, third and fourth stages will receive exclusive NFT. Also, 100,000 project tokens will be allocated for each stage for these stages. The total emission at the time of the network launch will be 1 billion.
I wish you good luck if you take part!
