But where’s the data? What is the environmental footprint of the feedstock required to feed the GE algae? What is the overall lifecycle impact of this product? How are the GE ingredients contained? These are some questions that must be answered transparently before these products can reasonably claim the halo of sustainability.

Indeed, where is the data? You have produced very little in support of your arguments. Furthermore, you seem to be demanding for more transparency from producers you deem to be using GMOs than from other producers. Would you be asking all of these questions of a food producer that slapped “organic” on all of their products? I’m not suggesting producers should be transparent in their practices, but we have to be consistent.
