If you are somehow thinking or believing that this Earth can transform into a utopia you’ve been envisioning, you’re putting undue pressure on yourself.
What you have been witnessing is the effects of man’s sin nature which bubbles up across the globe into acts of violence, hate, and the myriad other symptoms of the Fall.
As Christians we are called not to be a part of that madness, now that we have been transformed by the One who created all of us.
We are called to be salt and light, but we can’t be any of that to a fallen world if we continue to dip our feet into the world’s craziness and react as if we didn’t know better.
Forgiveness is hard, even for Christians. We daily must put on the full armor of God and steel ourselves against the fiery darts of the enemy, always remembering Satan is the true enemy.
We must always be on guard that we don’t start acting and thinking like the very ones we decry.
God Himself took the form of man, and even He, the Creator, was despised and rejected by a people which should have known Him and been expecting Him, so experiencing violence and negativity as Christians shouldn’t come as a shock or surprise.
There is coming a time when there will be a new heavens and new Earth with no memory of the past ones. We’ll go back to a time as it was in the beginning before the sin that caused the Fall resulting in all of the madness that had occurred from then until now.
Don’t needlessly spend time trying to make it right now.
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:19
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Psalms 91:1–8
