How to draw circuit diagrams in Word?
Step1: Download AxGlyph and Install it with a Word Add-in

Step2: Open Word and Navigate to the AxGlyph Ribbon Bar
After a successful installation, the Word add-in will appears on the ribbon bar.
Also, there is a desktop icon which you can open the AxGlyph GUI and draw educational vector graphs.
Step3: Draw the Circuit Diagram
Simply click the “AxGlyph” icon on the Word ribbon bar. A window will popup and you can draw with AxGlyph.
Step3.1: Place the symbols
Scroll the symbol panel to the “Circuit” section. You’ll see a lot of pre-defined symbols (or symbol templates).
Choose your first Resistor! You can see a yellow handler and segment list. Try to move the handler back and forth! The symbol will turn into different resistors!
Step3.2: Rotation and Alignment
Use the toolbar here which you can do all the rotation, alignment, mirroring, etc.
And tell you a secret, you can use short-keys like “Spacebar”, to rotate a symbol 90 degrees. All short-keys are listed in AxGlyph Help Manual.
Also, you can define your own short-keys, such as “W” for wire. Let’s do it!
Right click the symbol, and set HotKey. Choose “W” and press “OK”. Then when you press “W”, a wire will place onto the canvas. It is very useful when you draw circuit diagrams.
Also, you can define “I” for IGBTs, “R” for resistors, “L” for inductors, “C” for capacitors. Just have a try!
Step3.3 Connect all
Use the “W” wire to connect the circuit elements. There is also yellow handler for wire to adjust its location. The endpoints will automatically stick together when they are close and turn green.
Step3.4: Add to Word
Now we’ve added a diagram to Word. Just close the AxGlyph window and the diagram will appear in Word.
If you want to edit it, simply double click the figure, AxGlyph will pop-up and you can continue to edit the diagram.
