Made easy using the Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Smart Blender.

Craving a refreshing and guilt-free dessert that’s easy to make? Look no further than this delightful Mango Sorbet recipe. Using your trusty Vitamix blender, you can transform frozen mango chunks and a touch of honey into a creamy and luscious treat. It’s the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth while keeping things healthy. Let’s dive into this simple and delicious recipe.

Ingredients:

- 3 cups frozen mango chunks
- 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup water (adjust for desired consistency)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (optional, for added zing)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare Your Vitamix Blender:

Ensure your Vitamix blender is clean and ready to use. If you haven’t used it recently, rinse the blender jar and blades with warm water to remove any dust or residue.

Add Frozen Mango Chunks:

Begin by adding the frozen mango chunks to the blender jar. Using frozen mangoes not only makes the sorbet creamy but also eliminates the need for ice, preserving the intense mango flavor.

Drizzle in Honey:

Next, drizzle the honey over the frozen mango chunks. The amount of honey can be adjusted to your desired level of sweetness. Keep in mind that mangoes vary in sweetness, so taste and adjust as needed.

Optional Lime Juice:

For a tangy twist, you can add fresh lime juice at this stage. Lime juice complements the sweetness of the mangoes beautifully. Start with 1 tablespoon and add more if you prefer a more pronounced citrus flavor.

Add a Splash of Water:

To aid in blending and achieve the desired sorbet consistency, add a splash of water. Start with 1/4 cup and adjust as necessary. Be cautious not to add too much water; you want the sorbet to be thick and creamy.

Blend Until Smooth:

Secure the blender lid and start on the lowest speed setting. Gradually increase the speed, using the tamper if needed to push the ingredients down toward the blades. Blend until the mixture becomes thick, smooth, and creamy. This should take just a minute or two in your powerful Vitamix blender.

Check Consistency:

Pause the blender and check the sorbet’s consistency. It should be smooth and creamy, similar to soft-serve ice cream. If it’s too thick, add a bit more water and blend briefly until you reach your desired texture.

Serve and Enjoy:

Once your mango sorbet is perfectly creamy, it’s ready to enjoy. Scoop it into serving bowls or glasses, and if you like, garnish with fresh mint leaves for a burst of color and added freshness.

Optional Freeze:

If you prefer a firmer sorbet, transfer it to an airtight container and place it in the freezer for about 30 minutes to an hour. This will give it a more traditional sorbet texture.

Serve Chilled:

When ready to serve, take the sorbet out of the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly. Scoop and serve!

Conclusion:

With just a few simple ingredients and your Vitamix blender, you can whip up a guilt-free Mango Sorbet that’s sure to satisfy your sweet cravings. This recipe is not only delicious but also a healthier alternative to traditional ice creams and sorbets, making it a perfect treat for both you and your family. So go ahead, indulge in this tropical delight without any guilt!
