Dr Ahmed has accomplished a great deal during his time as a doctor. Considering his poor beginnings, Dr Ahmed should be especially proud of his achievement of earning his medical degree. Beginning his career in medicine as a resident at Chicago’s Mt. Sinai Hospital. From initial evaluation through follow-up care, all of Dr Ahmed’s adult patients were under his care. Dr Ahmed treated his patients with kindness and individual attention.

After finishing his residency, Dr Ahmed worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Loretto Hospital, where he was responsible for the hospital’s clinical team of approximately 150 doctors and 600 support employees. There, he oversaw the transformation of a private hospital with 177 beds that treated over 33,000 people every year. Dr Ahmed was instrumental in developing the facility into a medical research and education hub. Dr Ahmed’s commercial savvy helped Loretto Hospital flourish under his leadership as COO. He doubled sales from $60 million to $100 million in a little over two years.

Dr Ahmed also established Heart of Health Clinics in 2021 to provide medical services to the uninsured and refugees. Dr Ahmed has worked toward this objective his whole career. “Taking care of individuals makes the world a bit better, one location at a time,” Dr Ahmed adds.

Education In Medicine

Dr Ahmed is a highly decorated graduate of the Windsor University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree (M.D.). He also graduated with honours and made the Dean’s List. After graduating from medical school, Dr Ahmed spent many years at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, where he specialised in internal medicine. Dr Ahmed is a graduate of the Principles and Practices of Clinical Research programme at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Enthusiasm For Teaching

With his expertise in internal medicine, Anosh Ahmed, MD is now sharing his knowledge with the community. He says, “There’s a lot of health misinformation on the internet. The Dr Anosh Ahmed scholarship programme aims to assist individuals who have experienced some personal adversity in pursuing their educational and career ambitions. To be eligible for the award, students’ GPAs must be verified as 3.0 or above. Three deserving students will earn a $1,000 (USD/CAD) grant based on the essays they submit. Additionally, prospective students are expected to fulfil additional criteria.

Genuinely Generous

Dr Ahmed cares deeply for the people around him in the neighbourhood. He devotes a lot of his spare time and efforts to charitable causes. It’s in part due to his modest background.

Dr Ahmed came to the United States when he was seven years old. Since he was 13 years old, Dr Ahmed has dedicated his life to helping others around him. Since his father was disabled due to sickness, he had to work many jobs as a young man to make ends meet for his family.

Dr Ahmed’s mission is to help underprivileged kids reach their full potential. He aims to help people impacted by poverty and lack of resources, such as minorities and children. By advocating for improved opportunities in school, healthcare, and housing for kids in his neighbourhood, he is working to combat inequality and poverty.

Specifically, Dr Ahmed is interested in funding projects that improve access to healthcare, affordable housing, and medical care. They are the backbone of society, in his opinion. He has donated computers, books, and school supplies to underprivileged children through several Chicago and Houston churches and community groups.

Helping People Through a Pandemic

Dr Ahmed’s main priority throughout the global epidemic was helping his fellow citizens. To combat the epidemic, he shifted his attention to health and education as areas where investment would be most effective. He thinks he has contributed much to the development and healing of his neighbourhood.

The Health Center Near Your Heart

Anosh Ahmed, MD has several interests, but one of his favourites is providing treatment based on the needs of the local population. He saw a need in the healthcare system and set up the non-profit Heart of Health Clinic to meet that need. Patients of any background, age, or work situation are welcome at the clinic, where they will get top-notch medical treatment. Patients who cannot pay for medical treatment are also seen at the Heart of Health Clinic.

Scholarships in Honor of Dr Anosh Ahmed
