I don’t doubt it. But universal Javascript on both the client and the server is very valuable and so is having a large community. It does things go will never be able to do, even if it’s technically the better choice. It is far more likely that the time will just come that V8 will reach the little space that go has currently covered, and swallow it whole, as it has done with even big league competitors.

And calling ES7 a crap language is edgy, but doesn’t really reflect the truth.
