The CVS Debacle

CVS is a general store with many great little products. The store itself is great, but there is much need to improve customer experience. The items themselves are a bit out of place and thus make finding things a bit of a guessing game despite it being a small store. The organization of all items make the customers stay in one general area, usually the first couple of aisles. This method bring customers to come too quick to the register, so much so that, all customers are forced to wait a good amount before they can purchase their items.

A solution to these problems would be: rearraging the items in a way that makes the user move through the store enough so that they spend more time walking through the store. This would also solve the problem of too many people at the register at once.

Overall, my experience at CVS was not a bad one. It could however be improved. The shaded area indicates where most of the customers would remain during their visit to the store.
