Life as a person with diabetes can be challenging at times. On days or nights when my blood sugar goes high, the temptation to take a big hit of insulin seems to make perfect sense. The strangest thing I’ve found is that taking a small dose starts my blood sugar dropping much faster than a large dose.

I try to stay educated on my condition, but the logic of what I’m experiencing escapes me. I’m glad I was smart enough to try a different approach. The overall objective is to bring my blood sugar level down after all.

I suppose the moral of this story is that I learn something new every day if I’m open to seeing it.
