GPT-3 has many useful features such as code completion, question answering, summarization and grammar correction. While these functions are all terrific, I was curious about its ability to generate something new, unrelated to any question, topic or task. I decided to put it to the test with a very generic objective: generate an article or story that is captivating and hard to stop reading. Below I will show you 3 results that I’ve obtained from prompting GPT-3 for this challenge.

It was a dark and stormy night. Phillip had been driving home from work, and was now about an hour away from his house. He had made it the last few miles, but was now in the throes of a full-blown panic attack. His breaths came in short gasps and his heart was pounding so hard, it felt like it was trying to escape his chest. He pulled to the side of the road, scattering gravel, and tried to calm himself.
