I do not believe that H. Clinton lost because of her gender. I believe that she lost because of what she represented. She represented the constant compromise of liberal values that we have seen in the Democratic party. That party tapped into the hope for a more egalitarian society. During the election, when ever I heard the problems with her discussed among what might be labeled as liberals, they did not speak of her gender, but rather of her gross corporate connections. Not just her, but that party in general is slowly dieing because it has failed to be strong. I put it to you that there are good strong women that can get elected, but this woman, even if she had been a man, was not one of them.
