NO!

In a moment I felt the crushing weight of authenticity come to bare on my chest as yet another person asked me why they had not seen me on the course.

I took the moment to realign and step into my heart centre, remembering the wisdom of the experience and releasing from the stories that were once again doing their darndest to take hold inside of me.

I was being authentic, by sticking to my commitment to not force outcomes, but instead play with the flow of life as it unfolded.

I had already unpacked the un-creation that led to this outcome and also connected to the lack of leverage that had brought me to really not care all that much about being there. I had a clear idea on what my heart really resonated with in relation to the event, and from a clear space took the clear intention, front ran it’s creation using Beyond Intention and celebrated as it showed up for me.

I got to spend time with friends, “bumped” into my Teacher Dr Dispenza having some one on one time to update him on my journey, and ample time to get up to date with some creation work on new developments both with Do it With Dan (Newsletter and TV) and Beyond Intention with the new life transformation intensive programme.

Dr Dispenza also lovingly invited by him to join the course attendees for the walking meditations in the mornings, even though I had not made it on to the indoor mediations and lectures. His heart and joy to share his work truly is an inspiration; I have been in personal development for over a decade and have never comes across a course leader who would do that.

Now the whole affair of my not making it onto the course does in both reality and truth stem from my failure to properly execute the steps for deliberate creation:

I did not take the time to outline and imprint a clear vision of my intention, and had instead been lackadaisical in my approach both energetically and physically, making no movement in the direction of it’s unfolding and not heeding the signs from others that I had to pull my socks up and get things done.

I not only did not elevate my energy with emotions of creation of the outcome of my attending the event in an easy way, I gave it no energy or thought at all — and I do not mean that in a surrendered sense. I understand that this ties back to my not really “wanting” to be there, but there was some wisdom to be drawn from that — how many things have we set out to create that we don’t actually want, only to take the non-creation as evidence that we cannot create?

I did not have a coherent internal environment in alignment with the outcome, again because I had no true heart felt desire to be there. The energy and emotions of desire are truly instrumental in bringing about outcomes; intention, energy and beliefs must all be in alignment.

The beauty of the nature of reality is that writing these words in a state of heart coherence, I am able to continue to transmute these (apparent) failures into the creation of future outcomes that are in true alignment both with my desires and also my truth.

Seeing this unfold in this way and not expending precious energy forcing outcomes with pure will — even though my relationships did mean that I could have easily slipped on even with a waiting list — gave me a sense of peace that has been rewarded in many ways, whilst still giving me just what I needed from the experience.

As part of my journey into a respect for push back, resistance and the answer “no”, I have come across a few challenges in both my witnessing and my experience. I will be addressing these over time (I intend to create a webinar on this), but the danger that I would like to meet head on is in just how we accept this response in our lives.

To aimlessly accept a no from outside of yourself and surrender to it completely without question, enables the potential to step into a disempowering state wherein we make no movement towards the creation of our own lives.

There are many offshoots to this: ignoring our creative power of free will/choice, sitting in the seat of the victim, blaming people, places and things for our circumstances. This idea that we are not unfolding our lives starts to run in clear contradiction to natural law — at least from the quantum model.

If, as that model proves, we are creating our lives through using the power of our chosen observation collapsing energy into form in line with that observation, then it follows that the no must be part of that observation on some level.

In my story, the no was an expression of the fact that my observation was not the attendance to the event, but the communing with friends, seeing my teacher and enjoying some meditation with them all. It became a reality wherein I got the elements I desired, and on some level my apathy translated into the direction of energy forming as matter whereby the event itself as not a part of the landscape.

In life however, when we have these experiences, how often to we push back against the resistance and “waste” our time and energy fighting against what we have created instead of just creating a new outcome through new observations?

There are many reasons why, in my own experience ranging from a stuck state around the decision to make the new observation to the same disempowerment I alluded to earlier, relegating the “no” to a power outside of ourselves despite that existence of free will to experience either joy or otherwise.

At this point, the resistance I see in both my workshops, events and work with clients both privately and in groups is that there are third party forces that do at least appear to have some say in our lives. Some taking the stance of religion/faith, some call on horoscopes and the stars and other take the open road to Victimville and blame people, places and things that they continue to make the choice to invite or allow in their environment.

I discuss this in some depth as part of our Journey Beyond intention online programme and also in our coaching method, but for the sake of brevity let me deal with this simply by reminding that even when the apparition of these forces seems to hold more power than that of your observation, you do still have the power to choose how you deal with the aftermath of the ensuing experience.

“The fact is, it cannot even be argued that we’re resisting the actual situation. For instance, if somebody says something that we don’t like, obviously our resistance won’t stop them from having
said it. What we’re really resisting is the experience of the event passing through us.”

Michael Singer, The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself (p. 150).

Our observation of the fallout is just as important as that of the creation itself. For me, this was how I took to deal with my un-creation of my being at the event. I had the opportunity to play the victim — I had allowed procrastination to express itself as a series excuse for my later registration that tied to others — or to not take stock of what it was I really wanted and put myself into a cycle of stress.

This could have been within the experience, and even after perhaps after in reliving the experience through memory or recall or siting in the energy of the experience by telling people about it.

I did a video on this topic on my Facebook page not too long ago where I explained that in my own life, I have made the decision to be empowered by seeing that every no is a direction down a better path as opposed to hindering me in anyway.

I use the mantra “I am manifesting only my highest and greatest good”, which enables me to see that all expressions are to my greater good, even things that look kind of mucky and crap at first glance.

Just this morning I had “bad news” on the phone, and yet through a growing alignment with this mantra, I was immediately able in a state of heart coherence to reframe the experience and pull wisdom without an emotional charge that would have potentially formed an energy trap for me.

With the life experience that we opened this talk on, despite the opportunity to complain at the people places and things that I had called into my expression for the blame game, I was instead able to go inside of myself, unpack the experience and from the now make new choices that created joy for me in the moment and growth going forward.

My admonition to you then is to explore those experiences that seem to be blocked. Look at the intention behind the experience, the objective behind the intention and your alignment with it. In the Beyond Intention paradigm we do this in step four (Lisen), where we take our intention into the silence and see how they feel without external interference. When other people’s expectations and programming are taken out of the equation, do you event want that outcome?

Consider how much energy you are expending on fighting roadblocks instead of learning from them and using the power of choice and the natural flow of life to experience play and blessing of growth through understanding your role in it’s creation.

Look at the place of creation for the current expression of your intended outcome. What mental observations were you making? Where you expecting things to go wrong or letting your mind dwell on them going wrong from a place of fear?

In step three of the Beyond Intention paradigm we look at the power of expectation to form the outcome regardless of the intention; what are your core beliefs in the ability of this outcome to show up for you in your life?

How consciously and deliberately were you involved in the creation process? What power in dictating the outcome did you give to people places and things outside of yourself?

In the Acceptance step of the Beyond Intention paradigm we explore that where we are not consciously creating, we are leaving the observation that creates our outcomes to be made from our unconscious programmes — with the ensuing failure then forming “evidence” that supports that programme.

Life is made to be enjoyed, creation was given to us as a gift to be explored from a place of joy. Take the time to put your hands on the steering wheel of your life and get some of that good stuff for yourself — it is your birth right after all…
