Smelling good helps others help you

Several studies show that perfume encourages other people to be helpful to you.[1]

More Evidence That it Works

How it was done

A female accomplice either with or without heavy perfume walks down the street and ‘mistakingly’ drops a glove. Passersby let her know more often when she was wearing perfume than when she was not.

We also behave nicer to people in malls who smell nice.
