Nobody wants to use software
Bertil Muth

I don’t really think there’s an argument to the opposite. Well-designed software helps users use it as little as possible and get back to their lives (while still providing obvious value). Yet, developers still have to find some kind of enjoyment in the development process; otherwise they should do something different. The problem comes when developers forget this, and think users enjoy using something just because they enjoyed building it.
