The key is the change in true-shooting percentage of teammates when Curry is on/off the court. The chart is amazing.

Also, left out of their equation is the fact that he can do this without handling the ball. The Shaq analogy is apt in this way. You can pair him with KD and there’s little issue around usage, because his value is not actually in him having the ball but moving without it.
