It’s fascinating to me how this works on both ends. By filling your own cup you end up filling other’s cups in the form of jobs, investment capital, advice, and everything else you do to support entrepreneurship.
But at the exact same time, you’re also completely emptying someone else’s cup. Whether it’s the industry incumbents who are going to have to lay off all of their workers, competing companies that go out of business, etc. it’s just the nature of the market.
That said, in the end I wouldn’t have it any other way because the true winners will always rise to the top and the losers will always fall, adjust, and get back in the game one way or the other.
