Yes this movie is worth seeing…on Netflix or cable on a lazy Sunday. Every review I’ve read seems to be overly praising to push back against the idiots that say “You’re messing with the original! Women can’t be Ghostbusters” while not really addressing if its actually a good movie. The negative reviews seem to be overly harsh. So my conclusion is its not close to either of those poles but is likely a middling at best film. Movie prices are too high to pay for middling films. Throw it on the pile with Independence Day 2 and go to the beach instead. It’s summer for goodness sake.
