Let’s Jump In
As a digital creator striving for holistic freedom.
Your energy levels are sacred.
You need to make the most of your energy levels.
If you don’t cultivate the right habits that highly optimize your energy levels, you won’t have the necessary focus to produce high quality work.
Hence I believe ice baths are a crucial habit to develop.
I took my first ice bath last Wednesday & have never felt more alive.
When you develop the habit of taking ice baths, you develop:
- High Energy Levels
- Mental Fortitude
- Mental Patience
- Creativity
(p.s; did I mention it solves your chronic pain?)
The Experience
97% of the population will never take an ice bath because it’s “too cold.”
I get it, you’re submerging yourself in freezing cold water for minutes on end.
Although it’s not what it sounds like.
When you submerge & shock your body with cold exposure, you’re improving your:
- Breathwork
- Energy Levels
- Immune System
These are some of the benefits I received from my personal experience with an ice bath.
The first couple of seconds I was in, I was breathing maniacally & freezing.
With more time spent, my body began to get used to the cold water.
However, I eventually couldn’t feel my toes which sort of caused a struggle to up when I was done.
Although, in essence, this was a mentally opening experience.
Actionable Advice
So, I know you’re thinking my story is dandy & all although — how can you apply this to your own life?
To start off, we need to build up the tolerance for cold exposure.
Start off with your usual warm showers.
When you are about to finish taking that warm shower — switch the temperature & blast yourself with cold water.
Build up this habit for at least 21 days so your body can build up the cold temperature’s tolerance.
When you believe you are comfortable with cold showers — take the initiative to submerge yourself within an ice bath.
You can either go to your nearest physical therapist or purchase one online.
You will not regret the forceful experience.
Revision
In essence, ice baths will transform your energy levels, mental fortitude, & overall patience.
As healthy digital creators, we need all we can get to maximize our performance levels.
