DO NOT get Prime Reading!

When I heard that Amazon would be adding a new perk to their Prime membership I was excited (or I would be if I had Prime). They say you get a rotation of over a thousand books for free. But, then I realized that a majority of those books wouldn’t be best sellers or the kind that automatically peek your interest with a really cool looking cover and a catchy title.

So, I looked on the Kindle Store on my Kindle Fire, and saw only a few good books that I would actually read. Some included: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone; The Hobbit; and Wayward Pines. Other than that, there aren’t really any good titles Amazon offers.

Now the question: Is this a good perk to use? My answer: Probably not, unless cheap romance novels are your thing, then enjoy all the books you want, but if you’re the kind of person who wants to read a good mystery or fiction book, then this perk isn’t for you.
