Did this woman mention how the cost of college in 1960 was roughly $1500 a year at top tier universities compared to $35k+ now?

Students could actually AFFORD to put themselves through school with summer/PT jobs. Now it requires huge burdens of debt that significantly stunts their ability to purchase homes/cars/start families until they crawl out of said debt.

The major problem with the polarized beliefs we have today is the older generation does not understand the younger generations issues that they have created for us.

What is remarkable about Bernie Sanders is he is from the older generation yet speaks to the youth. He realizes we need to band together to fight for change, rather than a “you’re on your own” mentality that many republicans and conservative democrats believe.

We aren’t going to get out of this mess on our own, sorry to say. There is too much hate, ignorance, racism, sexism, whatever you want to call it, for us to accomplish anything.
