My Experience at TIIDELab (4.0): Reinvention and Self Discovery
In the previous month I gained solid grasp on JavaScript as an essential step in building a strong foundation in the Backend track
The fourth month was a new start into Backend development using NodeJS, Express Js, MySQL and more
Technical Skills
Backend development refers to the process of creating and maintaining the server-side components of a web application or software. It’s refer to the engine of an application It involves the implementation of the logic, database interactions, and other server-side functionalities that enable the frontend (client-side) to communicate with the server and provide the desired functionality to the users.
Aside having various programming languages we were introduced to JavaScript (Nodejs). It is recognized to be the most widely used tool for web development and popular websites such as Amazon ,LinkedIn were built with it.
Frameworks:
Frameworks provide a structured way to develop backend applications and offer libraries, tools, and conventions for building robust and scalable systems. Express JS is a node web application framework that provides broad features for building web and mobile applications.
Another moment that i will continually cherish was the privilege I had to serve as the 16th head of house. It was an honor for me because it expanded my view I learnt a lot personally and professionally.
I learnt the proper management of time, the power of collaboration , how to render service through leadership and setting clear goals and achieving them. I’m excited to have tasted this.
Absolutely! Hearing from TIIDELAB alumni can be a powerful source of inspiration and motivation to push further. their stories can provide valuable insights and encouragement to keep striving for your goals. Here are a few lesson I learnt while hearing from our alumni.
Learn to care for what you do, and do not really focus on the money by Mr BongShim. this has really helped me to focus on adding value instead of pursuing money
Be an active listener and a contributor in a discussion. Don’t just be there without giving your ideas and opinion, let your energy be felt.
Don’t be too quick to copy and paste codes learn to understand and do more research on what solution it’s providing.
I was really motivated to keep the energy, strive for excellence and never thinking of quitting.

To be a sought after software engineer, you need to be equipped technically and professionally. The topics treated during our professional class were strategically treated with precision for our growth and Mr Shamshudeen Aderoju handled every topic proficiently.

Negotiation occurs when solutions are searched without necessarily giving in or breaking off contract , it also involves the process of communication and comprise between parties with different interest or view points. Everyone has to have this skills to help in having smooth transactions.
Conclusion
I have gained valuable knowledge, deeper understanding, and a firm grasp of various concepts as each month has passed. I attribute this growth and development to TIIDELab. I express my gratitude to Mr Shamsudeen Aderoju, Mr Kenny Lukman and everyone that contributed to my continuous learning journey.
