- Visit the parivahan.gov.in website of the Ministry of Transport and Highways.
- On the website, click ‘Select State Name’.
- Now from dropbox, select ‘Delhi’.
- Now from the next page, click ‘Skip’.
- On the next page, select ‘Apply for Learner’s License’.
- Next, read the instructions carefully and click ’Continue’.
- On the next page, default options will be selected. Click ‘Submit’.
- Now, proceed to ‘Submit’ by selecting ‘Submit via Aadhaar Authentication’ if your phone number is linked with Aadhaar.
- Next page, you will see the options to enter Aadhaar details. Furnish the details and click ‘Generate OTP’.
- After generating the OTP, tick the boxes below and click ‘Authenticate’.
- On the next menu, enter all the details and click ‘Proceed’.
- On the next page, enter all the details.
- Now select the desired options and click ‘Self Declaration (Form 1)’.
- On the pop-up menu, select the desired options and click ‘Submit’.
- After the pop-up box select ‘OK’ and click ‘Back’.
- Now select the desired options and click ‘Submit’.
- Now after selecting ‘Ok’ from the pop-up menus, you will be directed to a page where your ‘Application reference Slip’ will be displayed. Now, click ‘Next’.
- Now select the ‘Upload Documents’ option and select ‘Proceed’.
- Now, on the next page, click ‘Submit’.
- On the next page, upload your documents and click ‘Confirm’. Then click ‘Next’.
- Now from the next page, upload the Photo and Signature. Select the options and click ‘Proceed’.
- Now, on the next page, upload your Photo and Signature. After uploading, click ‘Save Photo & Signature Image files’. Then click ‘Next’.
- On the next page, select ‘Fee Payment’ and click ‘Proceed’.
- Now, enter the details of the payment gateway and click ‘Pay Now’.
- On the next page, tick the Terms and Conditions icon and click ‘Proceed for Payment’.
- Now select your convenient payment service and proceed to payment. Then, a pop-up menu will be shown stating your payment is successful. Now, on the next page, use the option to print the invoice details. Select ’Click here for Print Receipt’.
- On the next page, select your application and click ‘Print Receipt’.
- Now, your printed receipt will be shown. You can save it for future reference. Now, select your date of birth and select ‘Submit’.
- Now, a new page will be shown saying that your Application has been submitted successfully!
The process can be done completely online and there is no need to visit the RT Office.
