This makes the rear cabin even quieter than before

Rolls-Royce are known for making the best luxury cars in the world and the most recent Phantom is no exception. The Phantom is also one of the quietest cars on sale when it comes to interior noise but clearly, someone thought this wasn’t enough.

You can now option your Phantom with something called a ‘Privacy Suite’. This basically gives the Phantom a wall in the middle of the cabin with a window which uses lots of clever technology to make itself either transparent or opaque. There is also a button which lets you talk to the driver if needed.

But what if you like it a bit more old-school? You can afford it after all. Well, Rolls-Royce has got you covered there as the ‘Privacy Suite’ can also be fitted with curtains if you think self tinting windows a bit too advanced for your liking. And I am sure if you pay Rolls-Royce enough money, you can have the curtains customized to your heart’s desire.

There is also a small opening in the centre wall which allows the driver and rear passengers to transfer small items to and from each other. Most people would think it would be useful for passing over notes, phone chargers or a cigar but, the kind of people who would have this option may have other things they may want moved from the front to the back…

Pricing hasn’t been revealed but let us face it, it is not going to be cheap, considering that a ‘basic’ Phantom costs well over £300,000. But you cannot put a price on privacy.

I can see this option being popular with billionaires, celebrities, the Yazuka and many other people of that nature.

Tell us what you think!

I’d love to know what you would do in this rear cabin if you had the ‘Privacy Suite’. I am sure you can be creative with your ideas so let me know in the comments below.
