Its gotta’ be a record of some sort?!

That is the spirit!

Pardon the pun but alternative combustible fuels excite me, they’re the future after all…

41 year old, Montana born Ryan Montgomery personally converted his 1980 Yamaha XS850 non-runner to run exclusively on a recycled byproduct of the vodka distillation process, that happens to produce a very clean burning ethanol based fuel. The magic potato fuel comes directly from Montgomery Distillery, that Ryan owns and operates.

Time warp…

You’d be forgiven for thinking that the pair are actually moustache adorned Josh Brooks and Guy Martin. However, the 41 year old and his buddies had no prior experience of building or racing bikes prior to this endeavour, and built the bike up in his makeshift garage/shed.

The bike, affectionately named ‘Sudden Wisdom’ after a whiskey that the distillery produce, beat its target of 98mph, achieving an average of 113mph; by eck’ chief!
