“Start Doing These Things for Yourself to Transform Your Life in Less Than a Year. Significant, lasting changes shouldn’t take you years.

It is your duty to live true to yourself, with authenticity. Your life’s mission is to express yourself boldly, create what you love and love what you create. It’s about expanding and living your vision of yourself — until it is the greatest possible expression of who you are”

I find these assumptions and projections superficial and one-sided. It factors out numerous aspects of life that are not “bold, goal-oriented, mission-oriented” and so on. It throws imperatives and to-do’s at the reader, chunking down personal development and growth into lists and mantras to fill out and repeat. While I am inclined to think that the author has more profound thoughts behind these, the density of topics and quotes from various thought leaders without more detail makes it overwhelming at best and superficial at worst. With the garnish of a lot of binary decisions flung at the reader, I feel indignant that this is aimed at helping people to “transform” their lives. Please consider to focus more on a reduced, less cluttered string of “do-this do-that famous people have said this”. There are great ideas in there, but your “remix” makes them loose a lot of value in my opinion.
