Dear ThunderPuff, do not cut your hair for any reason other than if and when at some point you decide you want to. People who look at externals before they know the only important thing — what meaningful contributions will you make to the organization, the team, the world — are missing the business value you could potentially make happen. You have a fabulous gift of cutting through the bullshit that tanks companies. Go network where people appreciate what people could actually do with them (you know, teaming together) before they start making judgments that make zero sense.
