From the Smart Phone to VR: How history repeats itself in technology advancements
Go back to the day of January 9, 2007. You probably were at work or school. This may seem like an unimportant day, but it was the day the iPhone was introduced to the world. This was where personal tech changed forever. This might be happening again, but with VR and mixed reality.
Lately, we have been seeing a trend in virtual or mixed reality. Whether it be from Meta(aka Facebook) with their so-called human-like avatars. Apple is hiring for different positions in the field. Also Microsoft with their thousands of dollar headset hololens.
I came to ask whether it will ever be a reality where almost everyone has one. A lot of people say no no no no. I will never wear a headset like this for even hour:
