The Misadventure of Plandemic and Dr. Judy Mikovits
The COVID-19 pandemic teaches me to expect the unexpected.
Nothing, however, prepared me for the requests from friends and colleagues to review the 26-minute video Plandemic. People I long regarded as unflappable through stressors — including this pandemic — sent uncharacteristically anxious texts and social media tags about having seen this documentary-style film, and what did I think?
More surprising were the requests from people with science backgrounds.
Uh oh, I thought. What am I in for? I sat down for a day of video dissection.
Slick and well-produced, the video creators edited Plandemic in a “whistleblower” style interview format with stock and archival footage that does everything it can to lend authority and credibility to assertions made by Judy Mikovits. Ph.D. in the film.
My Verdict:
After extensive research, including pulling up the papers she mentions in the video …
1) I found Dr. Judy Mikovits’s biographical information in the film severely embellished,
2) I found Judy’s best-known research at worst fraudulent — at best incompetent — and
3) I found that evidence-based medicine does not support her warnings and claims about COVID-19.
