No Sweat Discipleship

We need something easy when it comes to discipleship. By that, I don’t insinuate discipleship is easy, but I am talking about the process. We need something that can be learned quickly and transferred simply.

We know the mission of the church is to make disciples everywhere. Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

A disciple is a willing learner and follower of Jesus. But what does a disciple look like? In short, a disciple looks like Jesus. When the life of Jesus is examined we discover there are four major elements in His life. The four elements are worship (Mark 1:35), reach (Mark 1:38), grow (Luke 2:52) and serve (Mark 10:45).

What if we took these elements and created a process of discipleship that was easy to learn and could be transferred to others? What if there were a ‘tool’ you could use that would equip you to ‘make disciples everywhere’?

That is the goal of this blog for this year. My goal is to invite you to learn and use this process to deepen your own walk with Jesus but then also to do what Jesus called us to. He called us to make disciples.

Choose to follow this blog and get valuable insight which has helped me personally with my walk with Jesus! #nosweatdiscipleship
