Powerful story. I have 3 kids and I decided just after they were born to make spending time with them my number one priority. The way I look at it, as long as I'm earning enough money so that I don't have to live in a crime-ridden estate, can put food on the table, clothes on their back, and can afford a few luxuries - vacation, modest car, day trips, etc., then I'm happy and the kids are happy. Why work myself into the ground and miss out on the important relationships in life just so I can buy more stuff?
