I Am Life!

Poem

Relish the moments of happiness
Don’t mourn the moments of strife
Every minute you are nearer to a grave
I am an imbroglio — called life!

You have nothing to lose,
And have everything to gain
There is nothing to worry about
Then why have the insufferable pain?

You neither control the Earth nor the Sun
The trees circulate Oxygen
The seasons have a rhythm
All the lifesavers are free for you
Then why have the tension?

You are a painting on a canvas
You will fade away one day
You are a bird sitting on a twig of time
You need to fly before the shoot gives way!

Start collecting the moments of joy,
Fill them in a memory bank
Withdraw them whenever you feel low
You will have your smile back!

I am Life — intense yet vibrant!
Enjoy me as much as you can
Death is a part of me
Celebrate it with great aplomb!
