A Fresh Look
Hello everyone! On the doorstep of a long and dry Summer, we’re proud to share some recent developments to Dropcountr CLEAR — our water analytics software for utility staff.
Everything we build at Dropcountr is meant to make your team’s day-to-day tasks easier. We welcome feedback, anecdotal stories and product requests, so please feel free to reach out at firstname.lastname@example.org. Have a look below at some new features and let us know what you think!
On to the fun stuff,
Robb & Team Dropcountr
1/ We’re moving to Mapbox
Google Maps, you’ve been great, but we’re moving on — The team and tools over at Mapbox are just phenomenal. We’ve been migrating to Mapbox over the last six weeks and adding it’s most intuitive and powerful features to CLEAR. Stay tuned to learn more about this refresh and upgrade — we know your team will love it!
Based on your feedback, we’ve made it easier for customer service or other staff to quickly find a customer account. We’ve added a handy new search box adjacent to the filter engine. Finding the right customer and usage information has never been quicker or easier.
Some neighborhoods use more than others. Some considerably more than that! HEATMAPS helps your staff visually identify those pockets of high water use that might not be immediately obvious. Our partners have found this is particularly helpful for focusing neighborhood marketing and conservation efforts.
4/ Usage Markers
Rather than a simple “pin” icon indicating an account in CLEAR’s map view, the new default will be scaled usage markers. Account usage will be displayed as a circle that scales in size according to usage. High usage accounts are now easier to identify visually, and accounts with indications of a leak will include an orange circle for extra attention. This “visual filter”, in concert with CLEAR’s powerful existing data filters will help your team segment accounts for key insights and targeted digital communication.
More To Come
We have big things coming to our customer messaging module, making it easier than ever to communicate with your customers in a way that builds trust and support. Have any suggestions? Please send them our way at email@example.com.
