The End of Empathy

Amazing, I was just thinking about the lack of empathy I see everywhere. Last Saturday I was meeting friends and ended up being stuck in a subway car that was locked up with me inside of it for 30 minutes, triggering panic and claustrophobia. When I met up my friends they seemed annoyed that I was freaked out by the experience and wished that I would just forget about it and have a good time. The lack of empathy caused me to think about what happened for most of the night and had the exact opposite result of me “forgetting about it”. I see this everywhere not just online. Your article really connected with me so thank you and I am sorry about your loss.
