WHICH ONE DO I BUY?
Here is the formula to help make the best choice when buying a children’s book that is a classic and more than “Jack and Jill Ran up The Hill”:
As a parent we want a book that;
1. Has Good reading skills,
2. Has good teaching lessons,
3. Stirs the IMAGINATION,
4. A #1 Best Seller and,
5. the CHILD approves and likes!
1.) If we are in the book store we can pick up the book and peruse or look through it. This usually answers tips 1 through 3. So, if you are not in a store but online, check to see if there is a free video book for you and the child to view.
2.) Good teaching lessons are easily found by previewing the book.
3.) If the book stirs your imagination then it will probably do the same for your child.
4.) A Number One Best Seller is a good thermometer to determine to buy.
