Hey Political Journalists, Stop With the Objectivity: It’s Time to Call Trump on His Hate

Donald Trump has lifted the veil over racism within the Republican Party. Before Trump, Republicans used subtle, racially coded messages known as “dog whistles.” However, subtlety is not a quality possessed by Trump.

It doesn’t seem to matter that Trump’s most recent claims of having seen thousands of muslims in the streets of New Jersey celebrating, as the Twin Towers came down on September 11th, are reported along with statements from police and government officials, that such events never happened. Even Governor Chris Christie has said that while he does not remember such reports, there are a number of things he doesn’t remember.

Trump does not need to worry about facts, since his goal is simply media exposure of a racist message to people who are afraid of the the “browning” of America and yearn to “Make America White Again.” I’m almost hesitant to even post this comment, as I wonder whether we should all do our best to ignore him.

One has to wonder if ISIS would like to see a President Trump, as he fits the narrative that helps with their recruiting.
